Maiden Sweater

Maiden was the first sweater that fully realized the idea of working with local yarns and drawing inspiration from the natural landscape to inspire knit garments in my practice. While still residing in New Brunswick at the time, the yarns for this project are sourced locally from Fleece Artist Handmaiden in Nova Scotia. The purpose of this project was to explore how natural landscapes could be reflected in stitch types and colourways.
