Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take you to knit a sweater?
It really depends - every design is a little different. It takes anywhere from 1 to 4 hours to knit our garment panels (front, back, sleeves, collar). Then, it takes another 2-3 hours to seam, darn, steam, and tag everything. Production days before markets normally run about 14 hours.
Do you design everything yourself?
Yes! Everything is researched, designed, edited, knit, seamed, and tagged in our Squamish studio. We wouldn’t dream of using AI to help us design, and frankly can’t believe that’s a question we get these days.
How do I wash my garment?
The best way to wash your natural fibre garment is by soaking it in cold water with a gentle detergent. Afterwards, remove excess water with a towel and lay flat to dry. If you hang it, you’ll stretch your stitches and your garment will change sizes and warp. Please don’t put your garment in the dryer!

Do you take custom orders?
Yes! We take custom orders for colours or sizing for our available designs. We unfortunately do not accept custom orders for designs not in our archive.
